  1. Abram Lenkowski papers

    The papers consist of correspondence, documents, and newspaper clippings relating to Abram Lenkowski and Maria Lenkowski. The documents concern claims for reparations from Germany made by the Lenkowskis who survived the ghetto in Łódź, Poland. Their families died in the ghetto or were murdered in Auschwitz in August 1944.

  3. Magyarországi Zsidók Deportáltakat Gondozó Országos Bizottsága (DEGOB) card file collection

    Collection contains card files created in Budapest, Hungary, in 1945 and early 1946, by the charitable organization called DEGOB (Magyarországi Zsidók Deportáltakat Gondozó Országos Bizottsága/National Committee of Hungarian Jews Supporting Returning Deportees). The individual cards usually carry the name and personal data of the client, and details about the support she/he received (e.g. financial aid, clothing, food, shelter).

  6. Dunson family at Christian mission

    At the Kiamichi Mountain Christian Mission in Nashoba, Oklahoma, where Harold Dunson and his family were sent as missionaries in 1947.   7. "Un Enfant dans la Tourmente: 1942-1944"

    Consists of one memoir, 42 pages, entitled "Un Enfant dans la Tourmente: 1942-1944," by Albert Goldsztejn. Mr. Goldsztejn, a young child during the war, hid with his parents in the towns of Sassenage, France and Marcollin, France, posing as Poles and Catholics.

  8. Jakob Lapides papers

    The papers consist of a commemorative card given to Jakob Lapides as recognition for his contribution in the students' self-government in the orphanage in the ghetto in Łódź, Poland. Also included in the collection is a newspaper published on Aug. 1, 1941, in the Łódź ghetto

  9. Harold Floyd photograph collection

    The Harold Floyd photograph collection consists of thirteen photographs of the Dachau Concentration in March 1946. The photographs include images of various buildings within the camp, the crematoriums, gallows, a tree used for hangings, a mass grave, and the headquarters of the Dachau War Crimes Group. Captain Harold Floyd was assigned to the Publications and Microfilm division of the Field Information Agency Technical, which copied documents of interest to the Allies.

  10. Max Joseph collection

    This collection includes personal papers of Max Joseph, who kept detailed records relating to his pre-World War II experiences in Berlin from 1935 to 1938. The papers also document his immigration to Australia in 1939, his internment in the Tatura internment camp from 1940 to 1941, and his work with Jewish refugees and Holocaust survivors through the 1960s.

    Contains documents pertaining to the prohibition of Freemasonry in occupied Belgium and various anti-Masonic measures carried out against Freemasons.

  12. French antisemitic literature

    Consists of one book, title unknown, published in France in 1944. The book consists of antisemitic propaganda attesting to a vast Jewish conspiracy to assert negative influence in politics, finance, morality, the arts, education, and warfare.

  13. Haggadah commemorating the Holocaust

    Consists of one haggadah, entitled "Pessach Haggadah in Memory of the Holocaust", illustrated by David Wander with calligraphy and micrography by Yonah Weinrib. Published by Goldman's Art Gallery in Haifa, Israel and by the International Society for Yad Vashem, the haggadah is copy 115 of 250. It consists of 12 prints, 31 illuminated pages, and 13 black and white pages. It is housed in a large leather box.

  14. Sioma and Tonia Bialer Lechtman papers

    Contains photographs and documents relating to Vera Lechtman's parents, Sioma and Tonia Bialer Lechtman, before World War II in Vienna, Austria, and in Łódź, Poland; their immigration to Palestine in 1936; and their subsequent immigration to Europe in 1938. Includes photogaphs of Sioma Lechtman in the Gurs concentration camp in France, where he was interned after fighting in the Spanish Civil War.
