    Contains a photographic print, black and white, showing two American soldiers standing next to large pile of bodies to buried; taken in an unidentified concentration camp after liberation; dated April-May 1945. This photo was brought home from WWII by Leon A. Denski (donor's father) whose job after liberation was to bury the bodies that were found in the camps into mass graves.

    The Albert Garih testimonies consists of two testimonies written by Albert Garih in 2000 and updated in 2011. The first testimony describes Albert Garih’s personal experiences as a hidden child in France. The second testimony describes the experiences of Benjamin Garih, Albert’s father, who was sent to a forced labor camp on the Channel Islands.

    Consists of one folder containing essays by Holocaust survivor Judith Sherman, her daughter, Dr. Ora Gelb, and granddaughter Ilana Gelb. Most of the essays were written for an October 2010 program entitled "Hear Us Speak: Voices of the Second and Third Generations", held at the Monroe Township Public Library and sponsored by the Henry Ricklis Holocaust Memorial Committee.     Contains two copies of a letter written to George Peretsman (donor's uncle) from his relative Srul Israel Peretsman from Ostrog, Ukraine, in which Peretsman describes his experiences during the Soviet occupation of Ostrog, the German invasion, and his escape to the Ural region.

    Consists of pre-war and wartime documents regarding Rudolf Weiss's life as a refugee. Includes his German passport, 1941; letters and postcards from family and friends; documentation regarding emigration to Switzerland and to Honduras; documentation regarding his pre-war life in Milan, Italy.

    Contains letters from Bella Flora Wach (donor's mother) to her parents Fajga and David Wach while all them were in hiding in Belgium during the Holocaust; dated December 1943 to June 1944.

  16. "The Holocaust's Second Victims"

    Consists of a typed testimony, in English, entitled "The Holocaust's Second Victims" by Paul Keller. In the testimony, which was written for a Holocaust commemoration, Mr. Keller describes the effects of the Nuremberg Laws and on antisemitic persecution on his education and life as a child in Germany. He describes the culture shock he experienced as a German-Jewish refugee when his family immigrated to the United States in 1937.

    Consists of six photographs taken by Michael Spillias, a member of the 11th Armored Division, after the liberation of the Mauthausen concentration camp. The photographs depict the collection and reburial of corpses as well as of survivors who were liberated at the camp.
