    Contains a two-page letter concerning Alexander Szczucki's actions and observations at Buchenwald shortly after liberation.

  8. Arnold Kramish papers

    Photocopied material sent to Arnold Kramish, an American historian of the Cold War and wartime intelligence, from a French colleague in 1984. Correspondence consists of material from and about Paul Rosbaud, an Austrian who worked as a spy for the Allies during WWII, and about Kramish's efforts to have him recognized as "Righteous Among the Nations" by Yad Vashem.

  9. Charity concert program

    Printed concert program, 80 pages, titled "Miriam Magasi: In Aid of the European Emigrants," for a benefit concert held at the Lyceum in Shanghai, 25 November 1941. Many pages contain names of sponsors of the concert, with texts of songs performed, and description of performing artists. Pianist Magasi headlined the concert, along with tenor Ernest Krasso, violinist Ferdinand Adler, and cellist Johann Kraus.

  10. Erich and Rita Mayer collection

    Correspondence with various archives and tracing services (e.g., ITS), regarding the fates of missing members of the Mayer and Flanter families, circa 1980s, and some identification documents for said family members from Germany, 1930s. Includes snapshot photos of liberated concentration camps and Berghof, circa 1945.

  12. Zeev Schuss memoir

    Testimony, photocopy of typescript, 10 pages, titled "My Glorious Journey," by Zeev Schuss, describing wartime experiences of his childhood, which led him from his native Krakow, to Lwow, Bukhara, Tehran, and finally Jerusalem. Also contains Hebrew and Polish versions of the memoir.

  14. Faina Kozovskaya papers

    Testimony, two documents, one handwritten, 4 pages, one typescript, 21 pages. Former is an account of what happened to the donor's younger sister, Lena Kozovskaia, who was killed at the age of 10 in 1941 in Minsk. The other is a description of the donor's experiences in occupied Minsk.

  16. Diamond and Weinrib families papers

    The collection primarily documents the post-war experiences of Karl Diamond, originally of Tarnów, Poland, and his wife Ruth Diamond (née Mam), originally of Białystok, Poland, and her sister Helen Weinrib (née Mam) in the Bamberg displaced persons camp, 1945-1949. Included are marriage certificates, employment papers, identification papers, immigration paperwork and naturalization certificates, restitution documents, inquiries to the Red Cross regarding members of Karl’s family, and personal narratives and speeches of Karl regarding his Holocaust experiences.

  18. Sybil Milton collection

    The collection consists of photocopies of archival records dealing with the immigration of Jews to the Philippine Islands or with the treatment of those within the Third Reich the Nazis deemed "non-Aryan." Also includes copies of documents pertaining to the mentally infirm and to the Red Army ambulance corps.
