  4. Leonard Teski photograph collection

    Four photographs depicting Leonard Teski's parents, Maria Szelagowska Teski and Edward Teski, their daughter Joanna, and Janek Kon Konorski, a Jewish boy whom they hid during World War II. The first photograph depicts Maria and Edward with friends in 1938 a few months before their wedding. The second depicts, from right to left, Maria, Janek (age 7), and Joanna, the third depicts Janek and Joanna, and the fourth depicts Janek, all in August 1942 in Międzylesie, Poland.

  10. D.A. Weckwerth papers

    The D. A. Weckwerth papers consists of a letter written by liberator, D.A. Weckwerth, addressed to Mary Ann, written from Eisenach, Germany, June 1, 1945; three black-and white-photographs of Eisenach; one negative; and three copies of photographs from Eisenach, Germany. The letter describes Weckwerth's visit to Buchenwald concentration camp, including the descriptions of the camp and buildings, its survivors and victims, and German civilians tasked with "cleaning the place up."

  11. Eugene Berger collection

    Consists of two identity cards and two photographs. One card is for the Diplaced Persons Assembly Center 578, Lampertheim, has Eugene Berger's photograph on it, and is signed by the Director of the UNRRA. The second card is for securing rations and has Mr. Berger's right thumb print on the card. Both are dated 1946. The two photographs are of post-war Buchenwald. The photographic print of the Weimar civilians looking at the gallow has dittoed information on the back and is from "Photo-France A.E.P." The photograph of the bodies at the camp has very faint dittoed information on it.

    The Morris Rosen collection consists of telegrams offering congratulations to the couples' engagement, Berlin, Germany, 1948; a permit issued to a survivor of Auschwitz, Krakow, Poland, issued to June 13, 1945; and "Vorlaufige Aufenthaltserlaubnis"(Temporary Residency Permit), July 26, 1948.
