  1. Lola Kamien photograph collection

    The collection includes photographs depicting members of the Kirszenbaum family who perished during the Holocaust and two photographs depicting Lola and Noah Kamien during memorial services in Majdanek, Poland, on 21 September 1947. The family photographs were taken in Berlin, Germany, and Mielec and Domacyny, Poland.

    The Raymond McCormick photograph collection consists of nine photographs of an unidentified concentration camp following its liberation, circa 1945. The photographs include images of victims’ corpses, a cemetery, and a memorial.

    Contains four black-and-white photographs of Marie Gardova, a former head nurse in the Terezin hospital.

  5. Arthur and Rose Gelbart collection

    The Arthur and Rose Gelbart collection contains primarily photographs of Arthur Gelbart, who was a resident of Częstochowa ghetto and several labor camps, and Rose Grosman, who was kept hidden throughout the war. The photographs show both at several separate displaced persons camps as well as life prior to the war.

    The Mirka Knaster collection consists of forty photographs of the Knaster family (Baruch, Cyla, and Mirka Knaster) in displaced persons camps, including Santa Caterina, and Bari, Italy. The Jewish marriage certificate (Ketubah) for Cyla and Baruch Knaster.

  10. Ora Nahir collection

    Consist of an emigration certificate issued to Erich Nachheiser (donor’s husband) in lieu of a passport that shows the many stops on his way to Palestine; certificate dated 18 August 1940 in Kladova, Yugoslavia. Also includes a photograph album documenting the year-and-a-half journey of Ehud Nahir from Vienna to Palestine, dated 25 Nov.1939 – 30 March 1941.

  17. Reich service flag with a swastika and Nazi eagle captured by an uknown soldier

    Large, red Reich Service flag or Reichsdienstflagge with black and white images of a swastika and Nazi eagle with a swastika emblem and a cotton hoist and two metal clips along one edge. There is a tag attached to one edge that reads, "Königsberger Segeltuchwaren - und Flaggenfabrik, J.E.W.Hellgardt A.-G. Königsberg i./pp" identifying the manufacturer. This type of flag with a left-facing Nazi eagle was used by all state and provincial authorities between 1935 and 1945, in addition to being flown by government vessels that were not warships.
