  1. State Police Office in Domažlice

    The fonds contains documents from the activity of the State Police Office in Domažlice. The vast majority of the preserved documents are constituted by associations’ files, but also matters of issuance of passports and emigration and the agenda of refugees from occupied areas inland in the autumn of 1938. Politically important files were not however preserved, these evidently having been destroyed before 1945.     The fonds includes fragments of the archival records of the German Settlement Company in Nová Bystřice, showing the life and administration of the Nazis in the border regions in 1938-1945.   12. Landgericht (Reichs Regional Court) of Linz – branch in Český Krumlov

    In the files of the criminal, civil and administrative agendas there is only one case concerning a Jewish defendant: No. Vr 243/41 (Blaha Sara, housewife, from Benešov nad Černou, accused of not using her first Jewish name and not getting her Kennkart (personal ID)).

    The fonds includes archival material of the Forest Office of Nová Bystřice (cultivation, timber felling, etc.). As for the Jewish history, there are documents concerning the forced labor of foreign nationals, namely the Hungarian Jews, from 1944.

    The fonds contains archival materials from the lowest instance of judicial administration in the annexed border region in 1938–1945. In the library requests from 1940 it is possible to trace archival materials documenting the dissolution of the Jewish Religious Community in Mutěnín and the entrusting of its property to the care of the Aufbaufond (box 74), as well as documents attesting to the transfer of Jewish assets to the municipality in 1940 (box 76).

    The fonds contains archival materials from the lowest instance of the judicial administration in the annexed border region in the years 1938–1945. In the library requests from 1940 it is possible to trace archival materials attesting to the sale of the synagogue in Meclov (box 76, file 291-40) or archival materials from 1939–1940 documenting the dissolution of the Jewish Religious Community in Poběžovice and the entrusting of its property to the care of the Aufbaufond (construction fund) and the subsequent transfers of these assets (box 75, files 380-39, 379-39, 391-39, 352-40).

    The fonds contains documents of the political administration, including the files of the Landrat (district councillor) Office in Trutnov – the files have their own separate inventory, Landrat Trutnov, - and the population records (1890) 1939-1945) where one can find information about the Jewish population of the judicial districts of Trutnov, Maršov, Dvůr Kralové nad Labem, Žacléř and (partly) Jaroměř. According to the 1939 population census, the jurisdiction of the office included 100 municipalities and 73, 376 inhabitants.
