  1. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Horní Planá

    The files relating to persons of Jewish origin have survived in fragments: the recovery of debts from Jews who had to flee from the border regions, 1939-1941 (call No. K, inv. No. 20, box 9; call No. M, inv. No. 21, box 9). If the name is not known, searching is difficult. Files concerning Jewish inhabitants may sometimes be found in other parts of the fonds, too.

  2. Collection of applications of residence permits for the district of Uherské Hradiště

    The fonds contains alphabetically ordered applications of residence permits for the districts Uherské Hradiště and Uherský Brod including the Jewish population.

  3. Landrat (District Councillor) of Cheb

    The fonds contains record and accounting books, registry finding aids and files from the activity of the office of German state administration on the territory of the Sudetenland for the district Cheb. In the section Kult I – School matters, under inv. № 308 there are files concerning the teaching of Gypsy and Jewish children from 1940–1944. Under inv. № 329 files are kept about school matters of Jews from 1939.

    Files relating to persons of Jewish origin have survived in fragments: the recovery of debts from Jews who had to flee from the border regions, 1939 - 1941 (call No. K, inv. No. 26, box 21), termination of the lease of office premises, 1939 (call No. Mk, inv. No. 26, box 21), the Goldberger Comp. from Černá v Pošumaví, 1940 (call No. II, inv. No. 26, box 21). Files concerning Jewish inhabitants may sometimes be found in other parts of the fonds, too. If the names are not known, searching is difficult.

    Only individual items have been preserved with regards to the history of the Jews within the territory of the Sudetenland region. The file Private legal requirements towards emigrated Jews contains a letter from the Office of the Government President of 22.2.1940 (inv. № 78). The file Jews, 1941–1943 holds materials regarding pertinence of Protectorate Jews under the Reich Association of Jews, use of means of transport by Jews, introduction of the obligation of Jews to be labelled as such and requests for waiving of this (inv. № 96).     The fonds contains record books and files from the activity of the Amtsgericht (district court) Mariánské Lázně. The files have survived lacunal. Criminal matters are wholly absent, and neither the civil nor library administration task areas have survived completely.     The fonds includes archival records resulting from the activities of the German Settlement Company - The Chief Inspectorate Stříbro. Given the nature of the office, archival records related to the Jewish population and especially to its land property are likely to be found throughout the entire fonds, especially in the inventory units concerning the Chief Administration of Trpísty (the Třebel-Trpísty estate belonged, until 1938, to owners of Jewish origin).   11. Reichs Archive in Liberec

    The fonds of the Reichs Archives Liberec, in department H – Archival matters holds the file Jewish archival records from 1939–1941 (inv. № 112). This relates to the fate of Jewish registers from the Sudetenland district (locations Jablonec nad Nisou, Mikulov, Pohořelice, Rumburk, Šafov, Teplice and Trutnov) and their storage in archives and at local offices. The file also includes requests by offices for statements from Jewish registers.

  12. Deutsche Ansiedlungsgesellschaft (German Settlement Company) – Branch in Karlovy Vary

    The fonds includes archival records resulting from the activities of the Karlovy Vary branch of the German Settlement Company. The fonds is not inventoried nor arranged. Given the nature of the office one can find archive records related to the Jewish population, and especially to its land property, throughout the entire fonds. The fonds mainly includes official correspondence, reports on the management of farms, accounting records, settlement maps and land sheets and extracts thereof.

  13. Reichs Prosecutor´s Office of Liberec

    The fonds contains files of the judicial agenda from the district of the Land Court Liberec from 1938–1945. General and collective files are preserved in the fonds, only fragments of staff files. Proper files of the criminal agenda capture cases relating to murders, suicides, robberies, moral and property offences, major road and rail accidents, unauthorised contact with prisoners etc. Individual cases relating to the Jewish population can be traced in the registers and indices (inv. № 1–148).

  14. Landgericht (Reichs Regional Court) of Liberec

    The fonds contains documents from the activity of the Reichs regional court. Documents are preserved in the fonds relating to liquidation of Jewish companies. Court files – Bankruptcies are preserved from 1938–1940 (inv. № 35). Ownership changes of the companies of individuals and joint stock companies are documented by books of company records held according to official courts from 1939–1945 (inv. no. 37–68) and files of individual companies (inv. № 71–74).

  15. Liebauthal Textile Works, Fischer and Co., GP, Libavské Údolí

    The fonds contains documents from the Liebauthal textile factories of Fischer and Co., Libavské Údolí from 1938 to 1950. Since these are documents of the Aryanised company, originally Noë Stross joint-stock company, United Textile Factories in Libavské Údolí and Bělá pod Bezdězem, a large number of documents are related to Jewish history.     The fonds contains files of the criminal agenda from the district of the Land Court Most which relate to the whole range of criminal offences. Files relating to the violent extermination of the Jews by members of the SA and SS from 1938–1939 (reference Js, inv. № 39-42) and criminal files, for example documenting looting of Jewish property (reference Kls and KMs) are of importance for the history of the Jews.

    The fonds contains documents of the regular agenda of the regional court in the period of occupation. Documents are preserved in the fonds relating to liquidation of Jewish companies. Court files – Bankruptcies are preserved from 1938–1942 (inv. № 13). Ownership changes of the companies of individuals and joint stock companies are documented by books of company records held according to district courts from 1939-1945 (inv. № 15–36) and files of individual companies (inv. № 41).
