  1. Landrat (District Councillor) of Ústí nad Labem

    The fonds contains the documents of the state and municipal administration within the scope of the Ústí nad Labem district. It is a valuable source of information for the history of the occupied border region and the persecution of the population between 1938 and 1945.   2. Landrat (District Councillor) of Železná Ruda

    The fonds was created during the period of Nazi occupation of border areas of the Domažlice and Klatovy districts and their integration into the system of German administration in 1938-1945. These areas formed Landkreis (district office), which was administered by the Landrat (district councillor) in Železná Ruda. The relevant archival documents include the following: The police agenda contains demolition of synagogues in 1939 (inv. No. 123), the agriculture and forestry agenda contain the temporary administration of Czech and Jewish land from 1938 to 1944 (inv. No. 301).

  3. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Kašperské Hory

    The fonds contains documents of judicial administration from judicial districts of Kašperské Hory, Sušice and Hartmanice, attached to Germany in the years 1938–1945. The agenda of the Office for Debt Relief contains, among others, lists of Jews, in the years 1940–1941 (box No. 65, No. 10).

  4. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Hostouň

    The fonds contains archival materials from the lowest instance of judicial administration in the annexed border region in 1938–1945. In the library requests from 1940 it is possible to trace archival materials documenting the dissolution of the Jewish Religious Community in Mutěnín and the entrusting of its property to the care of the Aufbaufond (box 74), as well as documents attesting to the transfer of Jewish assets to the municipality in 1940 (box 76).

  5. Landrat (District Councillor) of Nová Bystřice

    The fonds consists of agenda of the political administration of Nová Bystřice from the time of the German occupation within the scope of the previous District Office (administrative matters, economic affairs, police affairs, German sovereign issues, country defence, agriculture). For researching Jewish history attention needs to be paid to documents concerning economy and financial circumstances (disputes over Jewish property confiscated by representatives of German Reich) and requests for allocation to state offices.

  6. Amtskomissar (Official Commissioner) of the Precinct of Suchá

    The fonds includes documents of the German occupation administration in the territory of Těšínsko, more specifically, in the precinct of Suchá. Jews are mentioned in the following documents: Lists of confiscated shops, factories and flat furnishings in the municipality of Suchá (1939) 1940-1942; Transports of Jews (1939) 1940-1942; Inventories of flats, factories, lands and Jewish property in Dolní, Horní and Prostřední Suchá 1940-1943; Jewish assets 1940. Further information about Jews can be found in the Population register 1940-1943 and House records of the municipality 1943.

  7. Landrat (District Councillor) of Sokolov

    The fonds includes incomplete archival records of the political administration of the Sokolov district from the period of the German occupation, particularly files relating to businesses, citizenship and the hospital management, and personal files. Information on the history of Jews can be found mainly in the following files: The census results in the district of Falknov (inv. No. 74) and The 1939 census (inv. No. 105).

  8. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Loket

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) in Loket from the period of the Nazi German occupation. Relevant information can be found in the agendas of inheritance estates, litigations, seizures of property and criminal proceedings.

  9. Landrat (District Councillor) of Kraslice

    The fonds includes incomplete archival materials of the political administration of the district of Kraslice from the period of the German occupation, mainly a construction agenda and files relating to businesses, control of the self-government, education and social care. Sources to the history of Jews can be found mainly in documents relating to abolishing businesses in 1938-1939 (inv. No. 36) and the exclusion from citizenship from 1938-1945 (inv. No. 63). There are also preserved materials from the 1939 census of persons and businesses.

  10. Landrat (District Councillor) of Loket

    The fonds includes fragments of archival records of the political administration of the Loket district from the period of the German occupation, particularly, files relating to supplies and education, and personal files. Notable are in particular documents concerning the relocation of Karoline Beck in 1939 (inv. No. 40).

  11. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Vimperk

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) of Vimperk from the period of the German occupation. The preserved files concern administrative and judicial agendas, both criminal and civil ones (disputes, seizures of property, inheritance, and guardianships), and the agenda of land books from 1938-1945. The criminal files include documents concerning national and racial discrimination, illegal crossing of the border, etc. Except for the agenda of inheritance court the fonds has been well preserved.

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) Kraslice from the period of the Nazi German occupation. Relevant information can be found in the agendas of inheritance estates, litigations and criminal proceedings.

  13. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Nová Bytřice

    The fonds consists of regular agenda of a civil court. Property rights, estate and custodian files are mainly concerned. Within the criminal agenda the criminal matters of foreign workers are of interest (sign. NS). There are also documents of Inheritance court within the fonds. For researching Jewish history attention should be paid mainly to property rights matters, mainly inheritance matters.

    The fonds includes documents of the Amtsgericht (District Court) of Prachatice from the period of the German occupation. The preserved files concern administrative issues and the criminal and civil agendas (disputes, inheritance, guardianships) from 1938-1945. The criminal files include documents concerning national and racial discrimination, illegal crossing of the border, etc. The fonds has been preserved in fragments.

    The fonds includes documents of the political administration of Karlovy Vary and partly of Jáchymov from the period of the Nazi occupation.   17. Amtsgericht (District Court) of Bečov nad Teplou

    The fonds includes documents arising from the activities of the court functioning on the territory of the judicial district of Bečov nad Teplou. Although Judaica are not specifically mentioned in the inventory, they are most likely to be found in boxes 14-18 (forced auctions and forced administration of real estates, 1938-1945) and in boxes 19-26 (seizures of property, 1938-1945).
