Acquisition
The documents were originally stored in the building of the Karlovy Vary court. The files were transferred to the District Archives in Karlovy Vary in 1963 and subsequently arranged.
Scope and Content
The fonds includes documents arising from the activities of the court functioning on the territory of the Judicial District of Karlovy Vary. Although Judaica are not specifically mentioned in the inventory, they are most likely to be found in boxes No. 117-141 (forced auctions of real estates, 1938-1944), No. 141-158 (forced administration of real estates, 1938-1945) and No. 158-216 (seizures of property, 1938-1945).

The fonds includes preserved registers, registry finding aids, files (administrative matters, civil disputes, criminal matters, and other undisputed matters) and files of the debt relief court and the inheritance court.
