The fonds was taken over to the State Archives in Třeboň in 1957. Within the framework of the nationwide transfer of this kind of fonds the fonds of Nová Bystřice Landrat (district councillor) was transferred in 1998 to the State District Archives in Jindřichův Hradec. The Nová Bystřice Landrat (district councillor) fonds was arranged in the State Archives in Třeboň in 1963 as a part of associated inventory Landrat (district councillors) offices on the cut-off territory of the Southern Bohemian borderland 1938 – 1945. Besides the Landrat (district councillor) of Nová Bystřice, the Landrats of Český Krumlov and Kaplice are included in the inventory. Each of these partial fonds had its own introduction, so during the transfer process to respective District Archives in 1998 it was possible to divide the fonds and arrange them including the introductory part among full-bodied inventories. Out of the three Landrat fonds the Nová Bystřice fonds is the best preserved.
Zakres i treść
The fonds consists of agenda of the political administration of Nová Bystřice from the time of the German occupation within the scope of the previous District Office (administrative matters, economic affairs, police affairs, German sovereign issues, country defence, agriculture).
For researching Jewish history attention needs to be paid to documents concerning economy and financial circumstances (disputes over Jewish property confiscated by representatives of German Reich) and requests for allocation to state offices.
