Biographical History

This committee was founded in New York in 1914; in 1921 it was formally named United Czenstochower Relief Committee. Its goal was to provide assistance and create jobs for immigrants, and help destitute Jews from Czestochowa (Poland). After the Second World War, the committee helped locating and supported survivors from this region.
