Biographical History

Suite à la capitulation de Léopold III le 28 mai 1940, le gouvernement belge poursuivit son activité en France et désavoua ensuite la conduite du roi. Les ministres Marcel-Henri Jaspar et Albert De Vleeschauwer refusant la défaite décidèrent de rejoindre Londres. Les ministres Paul-Henri Spaak et Hubert Pierlot les y rejoignirent le 22 octobre 1940.
