Nameplate used by Adolf Liebermann for his import/export business in Vienna, Austria. Nazi Germany annexed Austria in March 1938. Adolf and his wife Bettina sent their daughter Hedi to Great Britain that year and their son Hans the following year. Adolf and Bettine escaped to Prague, Czechoslovakia, in 1939 but later perished in the Holocaust.
