Oscar Schwartz collection
Acquisition
The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2002 by Miriam Schwarz, the wife of Oscar Schwartz.
Scope and Content
The collection consists of a group of Nazi material including embroidered ribbons, patches, armbands and a metal belt buckle, all with Nazi insignia or inscriptions. The items were found by Oscar Schwartz while in Germany with the Jewish Brigade 1 box containing: 2 ribbons; 2 patches; 1 belt buckle; 2 armbands
