Scope and Content

Haggadah used by Gert Selig as a young boy. Ten year old Gert and his parents Siegfried and Hildegard fled Frankfurt, Germany, in 1940 because of the increasing persecution of Jews by the Nazi government. They traveled via the Trans Siberian railway through China to Kobe, Japan, and reached the United States late that year.
