Reports and articles by the Ghetto Archives staff: "Meeting of the President with the Ironers" by Jozef Zelkowicz, 17 October 1943 Rumkowski called a meeting of the ironers in the tailoring factory, apparently in response to their opposition and attempts to strike following the cancellation of the special food coupons they had been receiving; the report contains a description of the meeting, quotes from Rumkowski's speech and the workers' remarks.
