Correspondence between the Lodz Ghetto community system and various organizations and institutions: Letter from Rumkowski to Moshe Merin (Chairman of the Central Judenrat of the Eastern Upper Silesia area), 23 September 1940 Rumkowski's request that Merin no longer correspond with him through the Ghetto Administration Authority, as this disturbs Hans Biebow, the head of the Lodz Ghetto Administration; Merin should use the ghetto postal service for future correspondence.
