Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 373, dated 03 April 1942 regarding a major cleaning campaign in the ghetto, 06 April 1942 Factories and offices will remain closed on that day; only essential services will be provided; buildings, courtyards and cellars must be cleaned; tools will be distributed by the various departments; all ghetto residents, 15-50, must participate.
