Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 327, dated 03 November 1941 prohibiting the use of electrical appliances while cooking Owing to the need to save electricity in the ghetto, the use of electrical appliances while cooking is forbidden; Rumkowski urges conservation and announces that it is forbidden to use light bulbs stronger than 10 watts.
