Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 26 dated 25 April 1940 regarding the fact that Rumkowski has received the power-of-attorney to manage the real estate in the ghetto, and the right to collect rent and other payments Rumkowski has received the power-of-attorney to manage the real estate in the ghetto, and the right to collect rent and other payments, effective 24 April1940; the residents must pay rent money to him from 01 May 1940; it is forbidden to pay rent to landlords or other trustees.
