Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement Number 235, dated 23 March 1941 directing that claims against people living outside the ghetto should be submitted at the ghetto bank Claims related to money or merchandise may relate only to the period after 01 October 1939; Rumkowski announces his success in the collection of tens of thousands of Marks through such claims.
