Announcements to the population issued by Rumkowski in the Lodz Ghetto: Announcement No. 117, dated 02 September 1940, ordering that all births in the ghetto be reported to the Civilian Registry Department All births must be reported within seven days; details regarding registration procedures; all children born since 01 March1940 must now be registered; any child who has not been registered will not receive food rations.
