Biographical History
Výnosem říšského protektora byla k 1. 7. 1942 nařízena reorganizace všech složek protektorátní policie a četnictva. Při ministerstvu vnitra byly zřízeny úřady generálních velitelů uniformované a neuniformované protektorátní policie. Úřad generálního velitele neuniformované protektorátní policie (Generalkommandant der nichtuniformierten Protektoratspolizei) měl za úkol jednotné řízení všech neuniformovaných složek, tj. německé bezpečnostní policie a SD a protektorátní kriminální policie. V Čechách i na Moravě byly jako podřízené orgány zřízeny úřady inspektorů neuniformované protektorátní policie.
Archival History
Torzo písemností generálního velitele neuniformované protektorátní policie bylo po druhé světové válce pravděpodobně spolu s dokumenty generálního velitele uniformované protektorátní policie a generálního velitele četnictva shromážděno poválečným Sborem národní bezpečnosti (SNB) a v letech 1955 až 1966 byly všechny materiály společně předány Státnímu ústředního archivu v Praze (dnes Národnímu archivu).
Větší celek spisového materiálu tvořící dosud nezpracovanou část fondu se dostal do Státního ústředního archivu v Praze (dnes Národního archivu) v roce 1980 od Federálního ministerstva vnitra.
Scope and Content
Zpracovaná část fondu je jen nepatrnou částí písemností generální velitele neuniformované protektorátní policie. K nejvýznamnějším z nich patří přehledy a kreslené plány pracovně výchovných táborů na území protektorátu a tištěná hlášení protektorátní kriminální policie (Meldeblatt der Protektoratskriminalpolizei).
Obsahově mnohem větší celek představuje nezpracovaná část fondu, kde se nacházejí písemnosti vzniklé z kompetence generálního velitele neuniformované protektorátní policie týkající se správy pracovně-výchovných táborů (Arbeitserziehungslager - AEL) a dalších internačních táborů v protektorátu (např. v Mirošově, v Ostravě-Vítkovicích, v Ostravě-Kunčicích, v Hradišťku, v Břežanech, cikánských táborů v Letech u Písku a v Hodoníně a internačního tábora ve Svatobořicích).

System of Arrangement
Při pořádání fondu Generální velitel uniformované protektorátní policie v roce 1971 bylo vytříděno a zpracováno torzo písemností generálního velitele neuniformované protektorátní policie. Nebylo možné se držet organizačního členění úřadu, materiály byly uspořádány uměle do věcných celků.

Biographical History
Based on the decree of Reinhard Heydrich since 1st of July 1942 the security services in the protectorate Bohemia and Moravia were newly organized. Non-uniformed police forces like the criminal police were reorganized into the "Non-uniformed Protectorate police" (Nichtuniformierte Protektoratspolizei/Neuniformované protektorátní policie), which were in the Ministery of Interior under the supervision of the General commander of the non-uniformed Protectorate police (Generalkommandant der nichtuniformierten Protektoratspolizei/Generální velitel neuniformované protektorátní policie) in Prague. Under the General commander of the non-uniformed Protectorate police were founded for supervision of the criminal police two Inspectors of the non-uniformed Protectorate police (Inspektor der nichtuniformierten Protektoratspolizei/Insektor neuniformované protektorátní policie) in Prague and in Brno. Onother supervision institution was the Befehlshaber der Sicherheitspolizei und des SD beim Reichsprotektor.
Archival History
After World War II the documents from the General commander of the non-uniformed Protectorate police were likely collected together with documents from the General Commander of the uniformed Protectorate police and the General Commander of the Gendarmerie by the post-war Czechoslovak National Security Corps (Sbor národní bezpečnosti, SNB). The collection was handed over to the Central State archives (Státní ustřední archiv), now National archives (Národní archiv) between 1954 and 1966. The documents were processed and inventoried in 1971.
Scope and Content
The fonds contents out of different material concerning the Criminal Police in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia.
Of special interest are the camp rules of different Arbeitserziehungslager (AEL) including Svatobořice (Swatoborschitz), were also family members of emigrated Jews ("jüdisch versippt") were captured.
