    Collection consists of the documentation of the Holocaust memorials in Slovakia. It contains the list the list of the Jewish victims from the city of Prešov which was created for the planned memorial, material on the project Holocaust memorial tables which was realized in Poprad, Komárno, Nové Zámky, Košice, Bardejov, Liptovský Mikuláš and Nitra on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of deportations of Jews from Slovakia in 1942.

    This collection consists of numerous copies of the personal documents and correspondence pertaining the life of the Jewish inhabitants in 20th century, dominantly from 1940s. Second part of the collection contains manuscripts and copies of the memories on the Holocaust.

    Collection contains various documents gathered by the Czechoslovak security bodies and stored and sorted by the Studijní ústav Ministerstva vnitra (Study Institute of the Ministry of Interior) in Prague. While some documents cover activities of Jewish organization in late 1930s, and pertain to the period before 1939, others come from the period 1939-1945 and cover anti-Jewish measures of Slovak Ľudák regime.     The fonds contains preserved agenda of the Central Office of Autonomous Orthodox Jewish Religious Communities, the highest representative body of Jewish Orthodox Religious Communities in Slovakia and Subcarpathian Ruthenia (Podkarpatská Rus) in 1919-1938 as well as Slovak state 1939-1945. The fonds contains correspondence of specific Jewish Autonomous Orthodox Religious Communities on various issues, including the operation of Communities during the period of Holocaust.     Collection is created by various visual materials such as leaflets and posters referring to the official propaganda of the Slovak state as well as the anti-fascist propaganda which was intensively spread and circulated especially during the Slovak National Uprising in autumn 1944. In particular, 17 items are Holocaust-related and they are mainly pertaining the official anti-Semitic policy of Hlinkova slovenská ľudová strana (HSĽS).

    The fragmentary fonds contains police (Gendarmerie) documents of the Gendarmerie Station in Kežmarok. In includes the list of Jews that were to be deported to the concentration camp in Žilina in 1942, the list of Jews that were to be arrested and deported from Kežmarok on 2 April 1942, the list of Jews that escaped from deportation (so-called "dezerteri") that were searched by police. The most relevant Holocaust-related materials concerning information, including some photos, about VI. Labor Battalion which intentionally consisted of racially persecuted – Jews and Roma people.

    The preserved content of the fonds is very fragmented. The fonds contains a list of associations in the Štúrovo district, merchants' records. It also contains an inventory of Jewish district residents and lists of Jewish real estates have been preserved.

As far as the Holocaust-related documents are concerned the fonds contains documents concerning the revision of passports of Jews, and censorship-related files.     The Slovak Press Bureau was a state press agency of the Slovak Republic 1939-1945. The fonds contains files as well as extensive photo archive of the Slovak Press Agency from the years 1939-1945. While files are not processed and therefore not accessible, the photo archive is completely digitized and available in the Research Room of the Slovak National Archive.     The fonds contains the confidential files of the Ministry of National Defense of the Slovak Republic (1939-1945). These include files pertaining the anti-Jewish measures in Slovakia such as applications of Jews serving in Slovak Army for exemptions or files pertaining to the transfer to labour units. The fonds contains documents pertaining to Jewish real estate property and its usage by the army or applications of soldiers asking for the permission to buy such property. Other documents pertain to the employment of Jews in enterprises considered to be "essential for the defense of the state".
