    The fonds contains files of the District People´s Court in Skalica as the court of retributive justice in 1945-1947. Several files pertain to the persecution of Jews in Skalica or its vicinity. There are files containing the aryanisation of Jewish property, so called temporary administration of Jewish household as well as a file containing the information on deportation of Jews in 1942. One case file pertains to the member of the Special Units of Hlinka Guard (Pohotovostné oddiely Hlinkovej Gardy, POHG).

It contains several Holocaust-related case pertaining mostly to the territory which belonged to Hungary in 1938-1945. There are several files pertaining to the denunciation of Jews. One file concerns beating and humiliation of Jews. There is also a file containing information on deportation to Auschwitz.

    Collection contains 150 video testimonies of the Holocaust survivors. It is a unique collection of testimonies describing the life of the Jewish minority in Slovakia during the 20th century. There are 69 women and 76 men testimonies. The oldest survivor was born in 1904 and the youngest in 1944. Most of the testimonies were collected from 1995 till 1999 with some additional testimonies added after the year 2000. Testimonies were collected using the oral history technique.     Collection is created by 9 posters pertaining the anti-Semitic propaganda in 1940s which was published and intentionally spread by the Propaganda Office (1938 - 1945) in Slovakia. Posters refer to the anti-Semitic policy and Jewish persecution during the Slovak State (1939 – 1945). Most of these posters were printed by Grafia or Andrej in Bratislava. Every unit contains basic information such as date and place of printing.

Even though, the Holocaust does not represent the main topic of this collection, diverse material encloses relevant information about anti-Semitic measures which were enforced and implemented by the main political bodies in the Slovak Republic as well as their latter practical realization in the country, in particular in the city of Banská Bystrica and its surroundings.
