    This collection consists of several copy and translated papers or sets of copy and translated papers which document Nazi war crimes and are apparently unrelated. According to the depositor, the material was donated to him by a former Sergeant of Intelligence (name not supplied). A number of the translated documents bear the name of the translator, a Sergeant in the Field Investigation Section, War Crimes Group, North West Europe. The name of the investigating officer occurs on a number of the witness depositions.

    Collection of reports from Jewish relief workers on the conditions of Jews and other displaced persons at the end of the Second World War. In addition to the reports there are two letters, covering notes for the reports when they were sent to other interested parties in 1946.

    This collection documents the lives of members of an Austrian Jewish family whose destinies were forever changed by the rise of Nazism. The papers date from immediately after the Anschluss until the 1950s, by which time the surviving members had settled in their newly adopted countries.     Readers need to book  a reading room terminal to access this digital content 985/1 consists of responses, most of which are dated November/ December 1939. In addition, there is a list of respondents. The project's results comprised a set of statistics on the fate of Germany's synagogues (985/2). The fate of the synagogues was still a subject of interest in 1959 as evidenced by a copy of a letter on the subject from C. C. Aronsfeld (985/3). 985/2 also contains a list dated 1960.

    This collection consists of copy papers relating to the Roger E. Joseph prize. This is an annual award of $10,000, established by a member of the board of governors of the Hebrew Union College, Burton Joseph, in memory of his late departed brother, Roger E. Joseph, which "seeks to honor those qualities of idealism and humanity which reflect our spiritual values and our religious teachings." The Wiener Library was a recipient in the late 1990s.
