The Nazi armband was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 1995 by Claranne Bechtler.

Scope and Content

"Kampfbinde" essentially means "fighting armband." This design was created in 1920 and pre-dates the brownshirt uniform of the NSDAP. The design could also be replicated in various qualities of material depending on what a party member could afford.
