Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Medal awarded to Monya Adam in 1968 for his work in the communication centers of the Haganah during World War II. Embossed on the front, "Israel 20th Anniversary 1948-1968," with a menorah and "20" over "Israel" in Hebrew. On the back "In memory of the great days of the Gideonites," with a depiction of a ship passing through barbed wire. Designed by Yitzhak Pugacz (front) and Dodo Shenhav (back) and engraved and minted by Kretschmer.
