Rectangular piece of paper printed with red and brown ink. Printed in brown ink is a border and field of columns, inside the border is the portrait of a man on the left side. On the right reads "REGNO D'ITALIA/ BIGLIETTO DI STATO A CORDO LEGALE/ LIRE/ CINQVE/LIRE." Lire Cingve lire is in front of the numeral "5." The verso is printed in blue and black ink. The field is blue with an eagle flanked on the left by "5" behind "LIRE." "0098" appears in black in the upper left and lower right corners, and "756353" in the upper right and lower left corners.
