Biographical History
The Jewish community of Skuodas established and maintained the Jewish Secondary School of Skuodas in 1922. Skuodas Jewish Secondary School was a real pro-gymnasium type, later on, transformed into a four-grade co-educational school for boys and girls. The language of instruction was Hebrew.

Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Lietuvos centrinis valstybės archyvas (Lithuanian Central State Archives), Fond 796. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Feb. 2021.
Scope and Content
Records of the Jewish Intermediate School in Skuodas. The collection contains minutes of meetings of the teachers’ council, records of the entrance examinations; requests from parents to admit their children to school; graduation certificates that include photos of students, class journals, etc.
