Scope and Content

Etched bracelet depicting scenes of daily life created in the Lodz ghetto by an unknow artist between the creation of the ghetto in February 1940 and its liquidation in the spring of 1944. German authorities referred to the city and the ghetto as Litzmannstadt.

Handmade, silver-colored metal bracelet consisting of five rectangular segments connected together in a band. Each section is etched with different images. The first one bears a Star of David and illegible text, and the others depict people and work being carried out.
