United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Philip Katz

Philip Katz donated his collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2000.

Scope and Content

Consists of a document issued on 20 July 1945, to Philip Katz (donor), stating that he was a former political prisoner in German concentration camps and, after his liberation on 30 Apr.1945, resided in the Feldafing Displaced Persons Camp, Germany. It also states that he is trying to repatriate to the United States to join his father and family.
