Scope and Content

Contains notification form and receipts relating to the payment by Otto E. Landman's father, Paul Landmann, of fines levied on Jews for the murder of Ernst vom Rath by Herschel Gynszpan; a memorial bookplate for the Landman Family Memorial Fund; a photocopy of a clipping from the Schifferstadt (Germany) "Tageblatt" newspaper and correspondence, in German, relating to the Landman family and other Jewish families from Schifferstadt; and a photocopy of an unidentified German newspaper notice, circa 1937, regarding Otto Landman's great aunt, Helene Ehrmann, and a photocopy of the donor's letter explaining the significance of the notice.
