Martin Ferst donated this photograph to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2002.

Scope and Content

Consists of a photograph of Jadzia Kostanska, a Polish girl, crossing a barbed wire fence into the Warsaw ghetto. Jadwiga Kostanska, together with her brother Jan Kostanski and their mother, Wladyslawa Kostanska, rescued many Jews from the Warsaw ghetto.
