Acquisition

The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by Eva Svigutova in 2002.

Scope and Content

The collection documents the Holocaust-era experiences of Ladislav Reiss, including his internment in a Hungarian labor camp. Also included are two publications of Slovak Jewish laws, including "Sbierka nariadeni Slovenskej narodnej rady", dated 19 November 1945; and "Slovensky zakonnik", dated 10 September 1941.
