Acquisition
The collection was donated the collection to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2003 by George Fogelson.
Scope and Content
Consists of one photograph of Hilda Anker, the donor's mother, playing a concertina in Van Nuys, CA, in 1944. The concertina is part of a previous donation to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Also included is one bound copy of "Heimat-log auf hoher see" by Gustav Schroeder, captain of the MS Saint Louis. The book was published in 1949, and this copy is signed by the author.
