David Pollock served with a Royal Canadian Air Force Unit during World War II and witnessed events at the Buchenwald concentration camp immediately following liberation.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Acquisition

David H. Pollock took the photographs in Apr. 1945 and gave them to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on July 7, 1988. The Archives received these photographs from the Collections Department in Sept. 1995.

Contains nine black-and-white photographs taken by David H. Pollack in April 1945 following the liberation of Buchenwald.
