Biographical History
Alfred Eisner (1932-2015) was born on 5 April 1932 in Teplice-Šanov, Czechoslovakia (Teplice, Czech Republic) to Joseph and Maria Eisner. He was deported to Theresienstadt in 1944. After liberation he was united with his family and later immigrated to the United States.

Acquisition
The papers were donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum by Alfred Eisner in 1993.
Scope and Content
The collection documents the Holocaust experiences of Alfred Eisner, originally of Teplice-Šanov, Czechoslovakia (Teplice, Czech Republic), including his deportation to the Theresienstadt concentration camp in 1944. Included are a registration certificate issued to Alfred by the Czechoslovakian Repatriation Office and an identification card issued to Alfred by the Sdruz̆ení Osvobozených Politických Vězňů A Pozustalých (SOPVP) in Budejovice, Czechoslovakia (now Ceské Budejovice, Czech Republic).
