Scope and Content
Cardboard box (c-d) containing dried flowers (a), as well as a small, metal tin (b), which has a dried flower bud and paper wrappers within owned by Gerd and Alice Fischl Gerstmann. The box, flowers, and tin are part of a collection documenting the experiences of Alice Fischl Gerstmann, Gerd Gerstmann, and their families in Czechoslovakia, Germany, and Palestine before, during, and after the Holocaust. Alice Fischl, who fled from Czechoslovakia, and Gerd Gerstmann, who fled from Germany, both immigrated to Palestine where they met and married.

Physical Characteristics and Technical Requirements
Unmarked, rectangular, brown cardboard box with a telescoping lid (d) that fits snuggly over the base (c). The box contains dried flower bunches (a), which are tied together with yarn), as well as some dried flower remnants. It also contains a small, hinged metal pill box (b), which is lined with wax paper.
