Acquisition
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Akt Nowych, Poland, Sygn.572. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Jan. 2020. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Memories, documents, publications, clippings, evacuation cards, certificates, ID cards, announcements, photographs, postcards, and other documents sent by readers for the competition to the newspaper "Kurier Polski" after WWII. Includes documents related to land reform, contingents, a map of the so-called Recovered Territories, and book ordinances of the City Board in Biskupiec.
