Scope and Content

Leah Suirski (Swirski) sings and explains her poetry and songs, recorded by Bret Werb in 1997. The book of poetry referenced in the beginning is the 1979 publication "Young voices from the ghetto : a collection of children's and young people's poetry written in the ghettos of World War II" by Judith Berkowitz, Eve Edelman, and Joshua Rothenberg.
