Biographical History
Yosif Yosifov (1906-1967) was an attorney and native of Sofia, Bulgaria, who was active as a Revisionist Zionist in Bulgaria until he made Aliyah in 1940. After settling in Palestine, he worked to enable the immigration of other Bulgarian Jews to Palestine in the early 1940s. During this time, he continued to be active in the New Zionist Organization (Histadrut Zionit Hadasha), serving on that organization's supreme court, among other posts.
