Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Akt Nowych w Warszawie, Poland, Sygn.493. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in March 2017. This is a cooperative project based on the agreement between USHMM and Yad Vashem, Israel.
Scope and Content
Selected records of Polish Consulate General in New York, reports, correspondence, press clippings, notes, consular letters, and minutes related to minorities in Poland and in foreign countries, mainly Polish Jews in the US, activities of Jewish organizations and their contacts with the Polish authorities, protests in USA against the persecution of Jews in Germany and Poland, reports on persecution of Poles in Germany, a report of the Polish Consulate General in Chicago, 1940 related to cooperation between Polish and Jewish immigrants in the USA, protest of Jewish organizations against anti-Jewish excesses in Polish universities, a manifesto issued by the consulate against antisemitism, activities of Jewish organizations, creation of a branch of the Jewish Union of the Participants in the Walk for Independence of Poland in New York, the desertion of Jewish soldiers from Polish Army, reports, diplomatic correspondence, and financial support to organize rescue of Jews in Poland and other countries, 1943-1945.

Fritz, Marburg's book: "Der Antisemitismus in Deutschen Republik", correspondence, reports, and news clippings: Minorities in foreign countries. Antisemitism in Germany. Cooperation between Polish and Jewish immigrants in the USA; 3. Consular reports, notes, and minutes, correspondence: Minorities in Poland and related issues outside of Poland, Activities of Jewish organizations; Jewish emigration; Polish government and society towards Jews; 4. Correspondence, notes, news clippings, 1941-1944: Jewish minority in the United States; 5. Reports of Polish institutions, diplomatic correspondence, notes, 1943-1945: Rescuing Jews in Poland and other countries.
