The silver box was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2016 by Virginia Meyer, the daughter-in-law of Mrs. Carl F.G. Meyer.

Scope and Content
Silver box commemorating the MS St. Louis given to Mrs. Carl F.G. Meyer in honor of the launching of the transatlantic liner on August 2, 1928. Mrs. Meyer sailed aboard the ship which sailed on December 6, 1928 to New York City, then from New York City back to Europe on December 27, 1928.

Silver box with hinged lid and 4 round wooden feet. There is an etched depiction of the St. Louis on lid and an incription on the interior.
