Biographical History
The Socjalistyczna Organizacja Młodzieży CUKUNFT (Socialist Youth Organisation CUKUNFT) existed since 1910. During the occupation, it existed mainly in the Warsaw ghetto, and was connected with the Bund. The organization issued a newsletter in Polish, "Nowa Młodzież" (New Youth) as well as publications in Yiddish, "Jung Sztyme" and "Junge gwardie." It continued its operations after World War II, during the years 1945-1948.

Forms part of the Claims Conference International Holocaust Documentation Archive at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. This archive consists of documentation whose reproduction and/or acquisition was made possible with funding from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
Source of acquisition is the Archiwum Akt Nowych w Warszawie, Poland, Sygn. 1347. The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives received the filmed collection via the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum International Archival Programs Division in Nov. 2016.
