Acquisition

The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2004 by Sibylle von Sell Niemoeller, the wife of Martin Niemoeller.

Scope and Content

The collection consists of a Continental typewriter with cover and and three books relating to the experiences of Martin Niemoeller before and during World War II in Germany, including the years when he was imprisoned in Dachau concentration camp.
