An inked rectangle with white image and inscription is found on one side. The ink is green in color and the inked rectangle is smaller in size than the paper itself leaving an ink free boarder around the edge. At the bottom of the inked rectangle, “REICHSPOST” is found within a scroll. In the center of the image, the number “5” above undistinguishable characters are found within a solid green circle with a frame-like boarder. Sitting on top of the circle is a building or a representation of a triptych. The remaining areas of the inked rectangle are decorated with an elaborate floral and scroll pattern. On top of the green image two additional black ink stamps, both of which extend past the area of the postage stamp. The visible section of the first stamp includes an arc which extends from the top left edge of the postage stamp to the center right edge of the postage stamp. The visible section of the second stamp includes an arc which extends from the right top edge of the postage stamp to the bottom left corner of the postage stamp. The number “18” is stamped at the top of the postage stamp. Below the “18” a “93” is visible with the “9” on one side of the 2nd stamp’s arc and the “3” on the other. There are additional undistinguishable characters with in these two arcs. Adhesive is found on the other side. The image from the other side is faintly seen in reverse on adhesive side.
