The album was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2002 by Trude Rabl, the wife of Julius Rabl.

Scope and Content
The album was created by Alfred Kantor in the Schwarzheide labor camp. He gave it to Julius Rabl [donor's husband] who hid it under the floorboards in the barracks of the camp. Julius Rabl carried the album with him on a death march.
