United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Trudy Vinke Verloop

The collection was donated to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in 2000 by Trudy Vinke Verloop.

Scope and Content

The envelope bears notes written by the Trudy Vinke Verloop during the summer of 1944 regarding the ring given to her by a Dutch policeman. Additional notes were written by her mother. The envelope bears clues as to the location of the policeman's family and a message to be relayed to his family. A translation of that message reads: "Everything O.K., keep courage. Kiss from your father."
