United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Collection, Gift of Ciera Gotlib

Ciera Gotlib donated these photographs to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Archives on May 29, 2003. Her father, Hersh-Wolf Gliksman received them from the town photographer of Zelow, near Łódź, Poland, while searching for survivors from his own family.

Scope and Content

Collection contains 14 pre-war portraits of various families from the town of Zelów, near Łódź, Poland; includes portraits of the Fyle, Gliks, Szmulewicz, Kuperwasser, Granat, Zysman, Rosenblum, Bresler, and Pieniks families.
